Pend Merch Hier
In ScopeTechnical: PEND_MERCH_HIER | ID: OR-MFCS-PEND_MERCH_HIER
This table will hold all the addition/changes to the hierarchy structure for division, group, department, class and subclass level, so that a retailer can plan additions for the new division, group, department, class and subclass or changes to the existing division, group, department, class or subclass without affecting the actual division, groups, deps, class or subclass tables in RMS. This table will have the effective date for each additions/updates and the actual tables will be populated/updated on that effective date.

Sequencing
Load during Master Data to establish foundational reference data before dependent setup or transactional loads. Load once prerequisite cross-domain reference data is available so PEND_MERCH_HIER can be established cleanly. Sequence this object with its foundation data peers so MFCS processing can consume it without synthetic defaults. (Inferred from vendor object description, current scope dependencies, and Oracle Retail MFCS documentation.)
Cutover
Load during Stage 2 / .
Data Governance
Requires business ownership and source-to-target crosswalk governance.
