IM Reason Codes

This column holds the type of reason code. Valid values are C , Q, T, CNT, RTV, A. This column is mandatory not null. C-cost, Q-quantity, T-tax, CNT-credit note tax, RTV-return to vendor, A-allowance

this column holds the user defined reason code id. a reason code must be unique across all user groups so that it can be mapped to different gl accounts. reason codes must the upper case character string of not more than 6 characters. this column is mandatory not null

this column holds the user-defined description of the reason code. the description must be unique. reason code descriptions can be mixed case and not more than . this column is mandatory not null.

This column holds the resolution action associated with the reason code. RCA - receiver cost adjustment - PO and receipt cost. RCAS - receiver cost adjustment - PO, receipt, and supplier cost. RCAMR - receiver cost adjustment - PO and receipt cost, including matched receipts. RCASMR - receiver cost adjustment - PO, receipt, including matched receipts, and supplier cost. RUA - receiver unit adjustment. DWO - discrepancy write-off - allows user to stop any further matching activity, export the invoice for payment and create an entry for the unresolved difference (no document data is created, and any discrepancies are written-off). ACDS - approve credit in disputed status - updates the line status on a Credit Memo from DISPUT to APPRVE. CBC - charge back cost - allows issuing debit to vendor account or issuing a Credit Note Request. CBQ - charge back quantity - allows issuing debit to vendor account or issuing a Credit Note Request. CMC - credit memo cost - allows issuing credit to vendor account. CMQ - credit memo quantity - allows issuing credit to vendor account due to quantity differences. CNRTF - credit note request tax for the entire document - issues a request for a full document amount as part of a resolution for taxes mismatch after paying initial document in full to recover paid costs. CNRTI - credit note request tax for a tax discrepant item only - issues a request for just a tax discrepant item only as part of a resolution for taxes mismatch after paying initial document item to recover paid costs. DMTF - debit memo tax for the entire document - issues debit to vendor account for a full document amount as part of a resolution for taxes mismatch after paying initial document in full to recover paid costs. DMTI - debit memo tax for a tax discrepant item only - issues a debit to vendor account for just a tax discrepant item only as part of a resolution for taxes mismatch after paying initial document item to recover paid costs. UIT - use invoice tax - accepts invoice as having correct tax. DWOALL - discrepancy write-Off for allowances - triggers an accounting entry on the invoice to write off the variance of the allowance amount. CBA - charge back for allowances. This action is like CBC, but for allowance resolutions. The Resolution document will be an Allowance only document for the allowance variance amount. CMA - credit memo for allowances. This action is like CMC, but for allowance resolutions. The Credit Memo will be an Allowance only Credit Memo for the allowance variance amount. SLA - stock ledger Adjustment for allowances. This action will create a stock ledger entry for order/item/allowance code/allowance variance.
