Sub Items Head

Alphanumeric identifier for the main item that will have substitute items associated with it.

This column will hold the Location associated with the Substitute Item record. It should be a valid Oracle Retail Location (STORE.STORE or WH.WH). It will be part of the Primary Key for the table. Will only hold virtual warehouses in a multi-channel enviroment.

This column will indicate whether the associated location is a Store (S) or a Warehouse (W).

Contains the fill priority for the main item. This field applies only to Warehouses. Valid values for this field are: M = main (ordering will exhaust main item before using the substitute item) S = substitute (ordering will exhaust substitute item before using the main item) NULL = Location is a Store

If use_sales = Y, then substitute items will be used in calculating the maximum stock for the floating point replenishment method. If use_sales = N, then the substitute items will not be used in the calculations.
