Product consumption - Cockpit

An alphanumeric identifier for a specific quantity of a material that is processed or manufactured together. Batches enable traceability, quality management, and shelf-life tracking. The batch must exist as a master record for the specified material before stock can be assigned.

A subdivision of a plant used to differentiate stock within a plant. Materials are physically stored and managed at this level. This allows for detailed inventory management and tracking.

This field represents the quantity of batch material that is immediately available for any purpose (e.g., consumption, sale, transfer) without any restrictions related to quality or logistics. It is the primary field for 'unrestricted-use stock' in SAP's MCHB table (mapped to MCHB-CLABS).

A source-specific metric representing the stock level at an earlier point in time or before specific consumption events. In the context of an initial stock load to SAP, this field is typically not loaded directly into an SAP stock table (like MCHB) which primarily stores current state. It is primarily useful for reconciliation or internal data quality checks during migration.

A flag in SAP (MCHB-SPERR) that specifically controls whether a batch can be used in returns processing. An 'X' indicates it is blocked for returns. This is distinct from a general stock block (e.g., quality inspection stock) and might not prevent all types of consumption or goods issues.
