Challenge

Following acquisition, the client faced an urgent requirement to implement Oracle Retail and unify their retail systems under a single value chain. The new environment had to consolidate merchandising, planning, and inventory management while integrating with distribution automation and store PDA devices.

The transformation coincided with multiple parallel initiatives — a New Zealand store launch, loyalty platform upgrade, and online re-platforming — creating additional delivery risk and resourcing strain.
