Challenge

Following acquisition, the client faced an urgent requirement to implement Oracle Retail and unify their retail systems under a single value chain. The new environment had to consolidate merchandising, planning, and inventory management while integrating with distribution automation and store PDA devices.

The transformation coincided with multiple parallel initiatives (a New Zealand store launch, loyalty platform upgrade, and online re-platforming), creating additional delivery risk and resourcing strain.
